Oh how blessed thy homework be, hatred and all bundled into a great ball of energetic fustration... Oh how blessed...
Anthems:
Japanese National Anthem "Kimigayo (The Emperor's Reign)"
-May the reign of the Emperor continue for a thousand, nay, eight thousand generations and for the eternity that it takes
for small pebbles to grow into a great rock and become covered with moss.
Canadian National Anthem "O Canada"
-O Canada! Our home and native land! True patriot love in all thy sons command. With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free! From far and wide, O Canada, we stand on guard for thee. God keep our land glorious and free! O Canada, we stand on guard for thee. O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
Zimbabwe National Anthem "Kalibusiswe Ilizwe leZimbabwe (Blessed be the Land of Zimbabwe)"
-Lift high the banner, the flag of Zimbabwe The symbol of freedom proclaiming victory; We praise our heroes' sacrifice, And vow to keep our land from foes; And may the Almighty protect and bless our land.
Oh lovely Zimbabwe, so wondrously adorned With mountains, and rivers cascading, flowing free; May rain abound, and fertile fields; May we be fed, our labour blessed; And may the Almighty protect and bless our land.
Oh God, we beseech Thee to bless our native land; The land of our fathers bestowed upon us all; From Zambezi to Limpopo May leaders be exemplary; And may the Almighty protect and bless our land.
Reasons for color and symbols on flag:
Japan - White with a large red disk (representing the sun without rays) in the center
Canada - The flag is red and white because red and white are Canada's offical colors of Canada. They were given to Canada by King George V, in 1921. The maple tree is a very common tree in Canada, thus explains the representation of the maple leaf.
Zimbabwe - Yellow stands for mineral wealth. Green represents the country's vegetation and natural resources. Red recalls the blood spilt during the liberation struggle. Effective date: 18 April 1980.
